CHS SUPPORTS THE FIGHT AGAINST BREAST CANCER

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the buzz is spreading all around school. Breast cancer is affecting women's lives and it’s not something to be ignored. Each year, over 252,710 women are diagnosed with breast cancer and more than 40,5000 will not survive. This cancer can be very harmful for women and we should step up to support them in their fight.

Did you know...not only women can be affected but men, as well. Although, men have a small chance of being diagnosed with breast cancer, it is still equally important to spread awareness. CHS encourages you to join us and to be a supporter in the fight against Breast Cancer. We need to help all those affected and their families to show them that they are not alone. Let’s join hands to make a difference.

CHS students are taking time out of their school work to support the women (and men) who are fighting breast cancer. For example, the CHS Girl’s Soccer Team has come up with a great idea to add pink items to the games during the month of October. Their soccer cleats are decked out with pink laces and pink soccer balls with cancer ribbons are used at all their home soccer games. Can't forget the Rambler Football team rocking pink socks and the Cheerleaders using their pink pom-poms! These are awesome ideas because it is a great way to help those in their fight and spread awareness. CHS is very glad to be a strong asset in this fight...so come fight with us!
