NOT SUCH A SCARY FRIDAY THE 13th FOR RAMBLER FOOTBALL


What a Friday the Thirteenth it was for the Woodbridge Barrons and what a homecoming game for the Ramblers. Carteret took down White Division rival Woodbridge with the final score of Carteret 32-14.

Junior quarterback Zamar Brake gave Ramblers the first touchdown, after a 1-yard run in the first quarter; and at the second quarter- Stephon Kelly-Gordon scored a 39-yard touchdown pass, going into halftime with the score of 12-0.

At the second half, Brake threw a 23-yard touchdown pass to Rambler football team captain, Dwayne Sharpe (pictured above). Woodbridge countered with a 4-yard rush by Kesean Glover and a 20-yard rush by Kiere Cooper. Finally at the fourth quarter, James Henderson secured the win with a 1-yard run touchdown, and a two-point conversion pass by Zamar Brake to Zacceus Brake.
